Description |
'Plan of part of the farm of East Fulton on the estate of Craigends 1851 showing boundary of moss land as marked out April 1811 copied from a plan made by W[illia]m Kyle also boundary of moss adjoining farm of Auchans in 1842.' By Robert Climie, civil engineer, Glasgow.
[1:4800] 1 inch = 6 imperial chains. 613 x 409 mm on sheet 666 x 466 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in graphite. Compass rose. Linen backing.
Estate plan showing moss and arable land between the Farm of Auchans and Clippins Moss, indicating the boundary of moss marked out in April 1811, the marches between the lands of East Fulton and Auchans and Craigens, Clippins and Ryuraes lands, acreages of areas marked A to D. Noted are roads, turnpike roads, buildings, ditches and woodland. On reverse: 'Plan of Moss Land to be conveyed by Craigends Trustees to Mr Tho[ma]s Speir 1851 To be copied on th econveyance to Mr Speir & signed by parties. 7 May 1851.' |
