'Plan of the Lands of Mavie Mill in the Parish of Kilmarnock and county of Dumbarton. the Property of Mr W[illiam] Babtie.' Surveyor: William Clark.
[1:1600] 1 inch = 2 imperial chains, 1 inch = 130 feet. 422 mm x 407 mm, excluding wooden dowlings. Ink and coloured wash on linen-backed paper. Wooden scroll end dowells still attached.
Plan of the lands surrounding Mavie Mill showing locations and measurements of the enclosure, ground taken off by Forth and Clyde Junction Railway Company, wood, houses and gardens. Farm road, route to Drymen, route from Kilmaronock, and the location of the mill dam are all noted. Contents given with measurements in imperial and Scots measures. Surrounding land owners noted. Compas Rose. Decorative border. |
