'The estate of Pittencrieff, Luscar and Clune, the property of George Chalmers, Esq'. By Robert Scotland. [1:3600] 1 inch = 4 Scottish chains. 1060 x 1490 mm. Detailed estate plan consisting of two separate parts: (1) the coast from Charlestown to Rosyth church showing Charlestown, Limekilns and Brucehaven including limeworks, saltpans and harbours. Crossford village, Pitfirrane, Logie, Gallowridge Hill, Broomhall and Pitliver Houses noted. (2) Town of Dunfermline showing mills, palace yard, church, bowling green, water cistern and Burgher Meeting House. estate of pittencrieff shown with full layout of park, gardens and fields with field-names, acreages, roads, plantations and buildings noted. List of contents. Decorative features on map include drawing of fully-rigged man-of-war, two pinnaces and fishing boat. Compass rose surmounted by fleur-de-lis. |
