'Plan of the estate of Penicuik in the parishes of Penicuik, Glencorse, Lasswade and West Linton and counties of Midlothian and Peebles'. [1:10,560] 1 in = 875 ft 1020 x 760 mm Estate plan coloured to show farms - Lawhead, Cuiken and Greenlaw Mains (Glencorse parish), Coates, Silverburn, Carsewell, Cornbank, Eastfield, Braidwood, Brunston, Ravensneuk, Halls, Fallhills, Pomathorn, Mountlothian, Herbertshaw and Auchencorth (Penicuik parish) and harlawmuir (Linton parish). Superiorities left uncoloured including Wellington farm school, Springfield, Venture fair, Moss houses and Lead Burn inn. Ann's mill, Peebles Railway, sand and gravel pits, smithy, Allan Ramsay's monument, Tipper well and Penicuik village noted. |
