Estate plan coloured to show farms - Lawhead, Cuiken and Greenlaw Mains (Glencorse parish), Coates, Silverburn, Carsewell, Cornbank, Eastfield, Braidwood, Brunston, Ravensneuk, Halls, Fallhills, Pomathorn, Mountlothian, Herbertshaw and Auchencorth (Penicuik parish) and harlawmuir (Linton parish). Superiorities left uncoloured including Wellington farm school, Springfield, Venture fair, Moss houses and Lead Burn inn. Ann's mill, Peebles Railway, sand and gravel pits, smithy, Allan Ramsay's monument, Tipper well and Penicuik village noted. |
