'A plan of the Lands of Pitmain and Kingussie lying in the Parish of Kingussie and County of Inverness the Property of His Grace the Duke of Gordon made out from an exact Survey'. Surveyed by William Taylor. [1:2700] 1 inch = 3 Scots chains. 1370 x 895 mm. Drawn in ink, hand tinted. Relief by grey wash. Compass indicator. Linen backing. A plan of the lands of Pitmain and Kingussie between Glen Gynack and River Spey including the farms of Pitmain and Kingussie. Fields shown with acreages, field-names and land use - arable, pasture, wood and rough grazing. Steadings, lime kiln, smithy, Kingussie Church and manse, roads and wells noted. Coloured to show new farm and field boundaries. Table of contents. Names of adjacent lands given. |
