No title. By [George Brown]. [1:7100] 1 inch = 8 Scottish chains. 2453 x 4684 mm. Ink and colour wash. Dissected into six sheets. Linen backing. Draft plan of the lands north of River Spey between Glen Banchor and Kinakyle, near Aviemore. Steadings shown at Glenbanchor, Pitmain, Ardbrolach, Loggan, Rairs, Croftcarroch, Auchtenabyoch, Ballinluig, Wester Lynwilg, East Lynwilg, Dalraday and Kinakyle. Boundaries of hill grazings coloured. Shielings, old shieling places, bothies beside River Dulnain, ford and Spey bridge noted. Many annotations giving quality of ground. Field survey lines given. Part of Kingussie and Insh parish included. Book of reference - CR8/195 |
