Description |
'Plan of the parish of Cabrach, exclusive of the Black Water Forest, the property of His Grace the duke of Gordon. Copied from a survey taken by J J Roy in 1810'. By George McWilliam. [1:6300] 1 inch = 7 Scottish chains. 2694 x 1623 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Parish plan showing infield-outfield lands, with acreages and field-names, of townships from Upper Tomnaven to Bracklach. Boundaries of townships coloured. Land use indicated - infield, outfield, pasture, moor and moss. Steadings,watermill, manse, Meeting House and roads noted. Relief by grey wash. Names of adjacent lands and proprietors including Sir William Grant, Niven Lumsden and Mr Leith. |
