[1:2880] 1 inch = 3 Scots chains 20 links. 1714 x 1002 mm. Ink and colourwash. Linen backing.
Plan of infield-outfield lands of Upper and nether Cults, Tomintoul, St Bridget, Bellnakyle, Strans, Bellavlair, Findron, Milton of Auchriachan, lagganmvoul, Delnalyne, Delachule and Aultachmore coloured to show boundaries of townships. Plan of new village of Tomintoul shown superimposed on township lands. Field boundaries with field-names, acreages and land use - arable, green pasture and feal ground, wood, heath and common grazing. Steadings with occupants' names, yards, watermill, freestone quarry, roads and Roman Catholic Meeting House noted. Many annotations giving quality of ground. Relief by grey wash. Coloured ink additions, dated 1822, showing new marches. Surveyor's book of reference - CR8/185 and 191. |
