'Plan of the farm of Kirkhill lying in the Parish of Dalton, belonging to John Carruthers of Holmains, Esq'. Surveyed by John Tait. Drawn by John Gillon.
[1:3600] 1 in = 4 Scottish chains. 363 x 500 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing.
Farm plan coloured to show arable, pasture, bog and meadow lands. Township of kirkhill, old Glebe, marl pit, old road and new stone dyke noted. Names of adjacent lands and proprietors including Charles Sharp of Hoddam. Explanation. Compass rose. Title ornamented with decorative penwork. |
