'Plan of grounds at Scrabster Harbour shewing the original line of high water mark taken from Parliamentary plan made in 1840'. By W Reid Tait, Thurso. Lithographed by F Schenck, Edinburgh. [1:800] 1 in = 1 [Imperial] chain. 465 x 780 mm. Coloured. Lithograph. Linen backing. Harbour plan coloured to show original face of rock as taken from plan made by Thomas Cameron, land surveyor, in 1840. Quat wall, steamboat pier, new wharf, coal stores, smithy, salmon house, Coast-guard station, lifeboat house, hotel and inn noted. Also architectural plan by Donald Duncan, architect, Thurso, showing elevtion and plan of cottages to be erected on the Crown lands of Scrabster - RHP1732 |
