Description |
'Plan of the Wilsontown Morningside & Coltness Railway Morningside Contract'. By John Macneill, engineer. [1:2400] 1 inch = 3 imperial chains. 475 x 3294 mm. Ink and colour wash. Dissected into three sheets. Linen backing. Plan of the line at Morningside coloured to show land to be acquired and roads to be made. Adjoining landowners and lands anmed. Buildings marked. Compass rose. Site of the two seams of coal under bridges acquired by the Railway Company as per discharge by Lord Mamington and The Chapel Coal Company dated 1819 marked.
