Description |
'Plan of part of the commonties of Reddingrigg and Whiteside with adjoining properties'. Unattributed. Copied from surveys made in 1738 and 1816. Scale [1:5400] 1 inch = 6 Scottish chains. 79 x 59 cm. Ink and colour wash. Division of commonty plan coloured to show allocations of farm commonty south of Redding village. Proprietors named. Whitesiderig left common for servitude heritors, grinding stone quarry, spring and North and South Locks of Redding noted. Redding village. Copies of John Scott's plan for division of Reddingrig (1772) by Alex Black, dated 1853 and 1869 - RHP1545, 1546/1 and 1547. |
