Description |
'North Talisker S[mall] H[oldings] Scheme, Island of Skye'. Initialled: 'W L C'. Signed and stamped, A G Ingham, Chief Engineer & Surveyor, Department of Agriculture for Scotland, St Andrews' House, Edinburgh. [1:10,560]. 6 inches = 5280 feet. 860 x 745 mm. Hand coloured photoreproduction. Annotated in ink and graphite. Plan, based on Ordnance Survey, coloured to show land allocated to holdings in townships of Fiskavaig, Port nan Long and Fernilea and area of common hill pasture. Peat area, bull park, special common and reserved areas at Ardtreck Point, Rudha Ban, Cnoc Glas Heilla and graveyard noted. Holdings numbered by township. Table of contents. Table of signatures of small holders. Plan approved 17 January 1939. Stamped (on reverse): 'The Scottish Land Court, received 17 Aug[ust] 1940'. Note 1: 'This is the map referred to in the application for registration of new holders at Portnalong, Fiskavaig and Fernilea dated 19th July 1940'. Signed: 'Dan Douglas, Ass[istant] Solicitor, Dep[artmen]t of Agriculture for Scotland.' Note 2: 'Edinburgh, 22nd August 1940.
