Description |
'Plan of ground in excambion between the Earl of Leven & Melville and Fred:ck L Maitland Heriot Es:re.' By William Horne, Surveyor, Cupar, [Fife].
Scales 1 inch = 2 Imperial chains; 7 1/2 inches = 1000 feet. 540 x 810 mm on sheet 603 x 865 mm. Ink and colour wash on lithograph. Linen backing.
Estate plan coloured to show ground exchanged either side of the Edinburgh and Dundee Railway line. Note 1: 'Cupar 7 January 1851. This is one of the two duplicate plans & measurements referred to by us in the application for the above excambion sworn to (signed) Jas. Ogilvy Dalgleish, James Wilson, Tho. Shaw.' Note 2: 'Cupar 7 January 1851. This is one of the two duplicate plans & measurements the correctness of which I have deponed to this day befor th sheriff substitute of Fife. (signed) Wm Horne, Tho.
