No title. By [John Smith and James Smith, masons] Scale 1/8 inch= 1foot. 404 x 540 mm. Ink and colour wash. Watermark. Plan of portico etc. Note: 'This is the ground plott of the front of the north quarter of the palace of Hamilton, which Mr James and James Smiths masons are obliged to rebuild conform to an order signed and delivered to them by her grace The Dutches of Hamilton. This last of July one thousand six hundereth and nynety six years'. (signed) Mr J Smith, J Smith.' |
