Description |
'Plan of the lands of Scallastle. Surveyed May 1848.' By Henry J. Wylie, surveyor, Edinburgh, (signed) June 1848.
Scale [1:800] 1 inch = 10 Imperial chains. 780 x 1345 mm on sheet 840 x 1400 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in graphite. Linen backing. Edgebound in green silk. Wooden batons.
Estate plan coloured to show land use. Field boundaries and acreages. Farm steadings and settlements. Names of adjacent lands and owners. Table of contents giving acreages of pasture, arable and improvable land, wood, and roads and rivers for Scallastle, Garmony, Ledirkle, Fishnish and Corrynahenchy (Corrynahenach). Annotated with crops. Later outline plan of Mull on reverse. |
