Description |
'Plan referred to in byelaws made and enacted by the Provost, Magistrates and Councillors of the burgh of North Berwick for the management , use and regulation of the safety swimming pond, the Esplanade and ground in the vicinity thereof.' Produced by Burgh surveyor's office, North Berwick, April 1924 and signed John C Miller, burgh surveyor.
Scale [1:480] 1/4 inch = 10 feet. 487 x 523 mm, with backing sheet 500 x 608 mm. Ink and colour wash. Tracing linen with backing sheet attached with brass studs.
Plan coloured to show areas of swimming pond, esplanade and Plattcock rocks in North Berwick. Harbour and Burgh yard are also marked. Plan from petition for confirmation of bye-laws by The Provost, Magistrates and Councillors of the Burgh of North Berwick. Note: 'Haddington 2nd June 1924. Referred to in my deliverance of this date confirming Byelaws made and enacted by the Provost, Magistrates and Councillors of the Burgh of North Berwick for the management &c of the safety pond &c......'. |
