Description |
'Burntisland Cemetery.' By Robert R Raeburn, architect, Edinburgh. Scale [1:240] 1/2 inch = 10 feet. 657 x 964 mm. Coloured on reverse. Tracing linen. Layout plan of cemetery. From petition by the Provost, Magistrates and Town Council of Burntisland under the Burial Grounds Act 1855 that a portion of land of Greenmount known as the East Bento to be approved for appropriation as burial grounds of the Parish of Burntisland. Note: 'Kirkcaldy 19th August 1885. This is the plan referred to in my interlocutor of this date. David Gillespie, Sheriff Substitute.' |
