Plan of part of Drumshangie. The minerals under which belong to the Carron Co[mpan]y.' Unattributed. Scale 2 1/4 inches = 10 Imperial chains. 630 x 536 mm on sheet 668 x 536 mm. Ink and colour wash, with graphite annotations. Linen backing. Plan showing ironstone under rocksites purchased by the Carron Company from Archibald Sword, Esq. Drumshangie, Larkha, Blackrig, Woodnuch. Field boundaries. Steading, quarries and pit noted. Names of adjacent lands. Note (on reverse): 'This is the plan referred to in any disposition to Carron Company dated twenty-first day of October eighteenhundred and forty years...[witnessed] third day of August eighteenhundred and forty five years...' |
