'Plan of the Carden Common as surveyed, 1835 and divided 1836'. By Geo McWilliam land surveyor, Sheriffston.
[1:3200] 1 inch = 4 Imperial chains 662 x 984 mm. Coloured. Annotated in ink. Linen backing. Compass rose.
Division of commonty plan coloured to show scheme of division. Adjacent arable land of carden, Hillockhead, easter Cloves and Wards, millstone quarry, old quarries, clay banks, cottages with tenants' names, plantations, coast surveyors station, well, turnpike and old post roads and milestone noted. Table of contents giving acreages of scheme of division. Pencilled addition shows line of railway. |
