'Plan and section of that part of a proposed line of road from Aberdeen to Banff, continued to Banff.' 4 inches = 1 mile. 1727 x 525 mm on sheet 1740 x 540 mm. Coloured. Edgebound. Linen backing. Plan and section of road coloured to show proposed route. Fields and plantations shown. Turriff and Banff town plans. Buildings noted. Names of adjacent lands. Compass rose. Note: 'Aberdeen 8 August 1804. This plan contains the line of road from Towie to Milntown of Fyvie sanctioned and approved at a general meeting of Turnpike Trustees for Aberdeeenshire held at Aberdeen, this day, whereof the Honourable General Gordon of Fyvie was preses. William Gordon, preses; Rhomas Burnes, clerk.' |
