Description |
'Plan of part of Nethercraigends entailed lands now forming part of Mains Farm possessed by Tho[ma]s and W[illia]m Orr.' By Robert Climie, civil engineer, Glasgow. 4 1/2 inches = 9 Imperial chains; 5 inches = 9 Scots chains. 490 x 580 mm.on sheet 555 x 650 mm. Coloured. Edge bound. Linen backing. Estate plan coloured to show the two small portions of land on north side of River Gryfe which are the subject of the proposed excambion. Names of adjacent lands. Mains farm house noted. Table of contents giving acreages. Compass rose. Note: '12 June 1845. This plan is referred to on page third of our report of this date to the Sheriff of Renfrewshire in the application at the instance of William Cunninghame Esquire of Craigends and his trustees for authority to excamb the lands therein referred to.'
