Description |
'Plan of the lands of Ratho Hall.' Unattributed. 1/2 inch = 100 links (in Scots chains). 790 x 1200 mm. Coloured. Edge bound. Linen backing. Estate plan coloured to show fields and Union Canal. Ratho Hall and gardens, plantations, steadings, brewery, Kirktown village and Ratho churchyard. Names of adjacent lands and owners Table of contents giving acreages and names of fields at Ratho Hall parks, fields lying south of canal, and northfields. Note 1: 'Edinburgh, November 1821. This is the plan referred to in the disposition of the lands of Northfield executed by us of this date in favour of Sir Alexander Charles Maitland Gibson, Bt.' Signed: Alexander Dudgeon, Francis Brodie. Note 2: 'Edinburgh, November 1823. This is the plan referred to in the disposition granted by George Reid Esquire and his trustees to John Innes Esqire of the lands of Westfield etc.' Signed: Francis Brodie. |
