'Plan of the camp of Elten near Emerick [Emmerlich] August 9th till August 12th [1758] - four days before they joined the English, & immediately after the famous passage of the Rhine.' Unattributed. No scale. 195 x 250 mm on sheet 390 x 250 mm. Plan of camp at Elten, showing the convent where Prince Ferdinand had his headquarters, the village of Elten, the flooded meadowland and other significant features. Position of cavalry, artillery, rear guard, Horse Guards, Hanoverians, Hessians and Brunswick troops noted. |
