'Plan of the Estate of Carlowrie Belonging to David Falconar Esqr.' By Geo[rge] Stobie, surveyor.
8 1/2 inches = 20 Scots chains. 763 x 536 mm on sheet 800 x 560 mm. Annotated in pencil and red ink. Linen backing. Wooden rollers.
Estate plan with fields coloured to show use. Carlowrie Castle and parkland. Steadings, roads, Almond Water, toll and standing stone noted. Marked in red ink to show line of pipe in 1893. Names of adjoining lands and owners. Vignette of pastoral scene showing steadings, stockman, cattle, plough and fisherman. |
