Original plans from volume of plans (60) of lands belonging to the Earl of Galloway, 1828-1892. Surveyors: John Christison (1828-29), Colin Christison (1828-71), James Christison (1871-92). Photocopy of volume available at RHP23499.
NB: Plans of Balsier, Baldoon Mains, Baldoon Mains and Back Moss, Culscadden, Corwar, Clanch, Creich, Cruik etc., Eggerness and Innerwell, East Mains, Forest and Balfairn Moor, Galloway House Parks (2), Garliestown, Parks near Garliestown, Inch, Kilsture, Knockencurr, Kirwaugh (2), Little Hills (2), Little Airies, Millisle, Moor Park etc. (2), Newton Parks etc., North Balfairn, Orchardton, Penkiln, Powtown, Sorbie Farm, Sorbie Village, South Balfairn, Stewarton, Townhead, Whitehills, West Mains, Waterside were missing from the original volume when the photocopy was made. |
