Description |
'[Division of common]ty of Scotlandwell Moss, as divided in the year 1820.' By Eben[eze]r Birrell, surveyor.
Scale in Scots chains 1/2 in = 100 ft. 755 x 560 on sheet 810 x 580 mm. Linen backing. Damaged.
Division of commonty plan coloured to show fields. Bleaching green and Peat Hill noted. Names of adjacent lands and owners. Scheme of division with acreages and valuations given in table of contents.
Annotated in pencil. Inscribed: 'This plan is a correct copy of the principal plan of the commonty of Scotlandwell Moss referred to in a decreet arbital by Alexander Irving and Andrew Clephane dated the twentyfifth day of January eighteen hundred and twenty and lodged in the sheriff clerk [sic] of Kinross...' Signed by Ebenezer Birrell. Compass rose. |
