'Plan of the estate of Foswellbank...The property of John Piercy Henderson, Esqr.' By Andrew Henderson, land surveyor and valuator, 15 Royal Crescent, Edinburgh. A Forrester, lithographer, Edinburgh.
3 3/8 in = 40 Scots chains. 510 x 650 mm on sheet 549 x 690 mm. Coloured lithograph. Some losses to top left corner.
Estate plan coloured to show land use - arable and pasture. Table of contents with soil quality, acreages of arable and meadow, hill pasture, woods and roads, and valuations. Names of adjacent lands and owners given. Remarks on tenants and scope for agricultural improvement. Vignette of House of Foswellbank. |
