No title. By Thomas Kyle, surveyor in Glasgow. [1:264] 1 in = 22 ft 53 x 65 cm Plan of Springfield Quay coloured to show various occupants including Springfield cotton, printing and bleaching works, bleaching ground and part of the lands of Parkhouse. Areas reclaimed from River Clyde from 1799 to 1840 shown. Site of old coal quay, line of proposed new basin and buildings noted. Note 'The plans served upon the trustees or representatives of the late Charles Todd, Esq, and Messrs Charles Todd and Higginbotham or Samuel Higginbotham, Esq, are dated 17th September, 1840.' |
