'A plan of Hall-beath colliery and wagon-way, and of Inverkeithing harbour'. Unattributed. [1:3600] 1 in = 4 Scottish chains. 800 x 2470 mm. Ink and colour wash. Dissected into four sheets. Linen backing. Plan showing location of pits and levels on Halbeath estate. Wagonway to Inverkeithing harbour, Burnhouse, engine, Snedon's Pit, grieve's house, Waterhead, Hallwell, bores, Sheep-well-house farm, mill, lime quarry, houses in Inverkeithing, coal folds, saltpans, girnels and pier noted. Names of adjacent lands and owners. Detailed explanation and table giving acreages of ground occupied by the wagonway. Title with ornamental border. |
