'Plan of part of the estate of Ninewar'. Copies by George Gibson, C E, from a copy of John Ainslie's plan made by William Forrest, land surveyor. [1:7100] 1 in = 9 Imperial chains 651 x 504 mm. Drawn in ink, hand coloured. Linen backing. Plan of that part of Ninewar estate north of the post road from Edinburgh to Berwick. Farms shown by colour - gateside, Tynefield, Hedderwick Hill, Links and West Barns. Proposed new houses and gardens, field-names with acreages, proposed line for dividing Links farm, camp, brewery, Mr Skade's Mill, land overflowed at high tide, Tyninghame sands and part of the property of the town of Dunbar noted. |
