'Drawing of steelwork for bridge carrying G&SWRy [Glasgow and South Western Railway] No.7 Act 1897 over Paisley and Barrhead District No.1 Ry [railway] Act 1897.' By W. Melville, engineer, Engineer's Office, Glasgow. [1:288 and 1:96] 1 inch = 24 feet and 1 inch = c 8 feet. 1443 x 665 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in graphite. Linen backing. Plan, elevations, cross-section and details of steelwork. Plan shows dimensions of plates, inclinations and angle of skew. Elevation of inside of girder A and elevation of outside of girder B show plates, tubing, covers and cover strips. Cross-section shows dimensions, rail level and base of bitumen concrete. Details show specifications for tubing, gusset plates, gusset, bolts, concrete, pine, bitumen concrete, holes, plates, brackets, screws and rivets. Reference numbers given on reverse: '13305' and '136/11A'. |
