'Plan of the estate of Birkenburn lying in the parish of Keith and county of Banff belonging to the Right Hon[ourable] the Earl of Seafield'. By George McWilliam, surveyor. [1:3200] 1 inch = 4 imperial chains 988 x 752 mm on sheet 1039 x 800 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Compass rose. Linen backing. Estate plan of Birkenburn showing fields, land use, roads, turnpike roads, rivers, buildings, woods, quarries, dam, wells and yards. Placenames given are Scurry, The Mains, Back Moor, Gate Side, Drake Mires, Hill Brae and Herrick Burn. Noted are boundaries with estate of Pitlurg, lands of Achortes, lands of Achoyninie and estate of Cairny. Table of contents giving acreage. |
