Description |
'Reduced Plan of Lunan Water estate. East division. Surveyed in 1855' By John Mason, Surveyor, Dunbar. [1:4800] 1 in = 6 Imperial chains. 861 x 1084 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Estate plan coloured to show Redcastle, West Mains, Ironshill, Kirkton, Newbarns and Inchock farms. Fields marked with acreages and land use - arable, pasture, plantations, waste and links. Steadings, ruins of Red Castle, Coast Guard houses, smithy, parish school, Anniston mill, Old Chance inn, roads, mouth of Lunan Water, coastline and high water mark noted. Table of contents giving acreages of farms. |
