No title. Architect: Samuel Bell [1:48] 1/4 in = 1 ft and [1:96] 1/8 in = 1 ft. 505 x 420mm. Ink and grey wash. Floor plans of principal and ground floors. Guild Hall, St David's Lodge, Depute Clerk's chamber, record room, Clerk's chambers, court room, retiring room, bank (comprising account room, teller's room, cashiers' room, printing room), shops, piazza. On reverse, detailed plan of Guild Hall, showing location of new wood in the floor and lines of sight. Referred to in Samuel Bell's deposition of 5 Sep 1788. From trial papers of James Dick, late shipmaster in Dundee, John Willox, innkeeper in Dundee, and Thomas Howie, journeyman watchmaker in Dundee, accused of theft. |
