Description |
'Plan of the Proposed Road from the Bridge of Wick to the Ord of Caithness'. By David Wilson 1807, examined and corrected by Thomas Telford 1809. [1:32000] 1 inch = 40 chains. 273 x 1670 mm. Drawn in ink, relief by grey wash. Alterations in red ink. Linen backing. Compass indicator indicating true and magnetic north. Plan of proposed road from the Bridge of Wick to the Ord of Caithness. Place names given include Berridale, Rams Crags, Dunbeath Castle, Dubeath, Latheran, Port of Lybster, Port of Clyth, Port of Fatigo, Loch of Sarclet, Hempriggs, Wick and the Bay of Wick. |
