Description |
'Plan of the Intended line of Road from Sheal-house on the head of Loch Dowich to Beauly on the head of the Murray Firth or East Sea'. Surveyor: George Brown. [1:21600] 1 inch = 24 Scots Chains. Divided into 5 sheets, each approx 750 x 1015 mm. Drawn in ink, coloured. Relief in grey wash. Linen backing. Vignette of bridge and goat. Plan of intended road from Shiel House on Loch Duich (Dowich) to Beauly. Includes road and lands adjoining Loch Dowich, Loch Aballoch, Loch Affrick and Water of Beauly, finishing at Firth or Beauly or Head of the Murray Firth. Place names given, fields and buildings indicated. With tables of contents and references. |
