Limeworks, Glengarnock and Blair ironworks, tolls and Glasgow Paisley and Ayrshire Railway noted. Notes giving details of parish. Table of population 1755- 1901. Note: 'The above is a replica of an old map of Kilbirnie Parish, long in the possession of Dr Spence, East Free Church, Kilbirnie, which was after his death presented to the Kirk Session of the parish church, by J.C.
