Description |
'A Plan of the estate of Aberdour, the property of Lord Morton'. Unattributed. [1:7200] 1 inch = 8 Scottish chains, 1372 x 951 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. A very detailed estate plan showing the runrig lands of Aberdour, Humbie, Dalachy, Balram, Balmule, The Murrel and Cuttlehill in colour. Rigs with acreages and serially lettered to correspond with occupants' names given in table of contents. Village of Aberdour including church, castle, bowling green and gardens, harbour, saltpans, coal sink (pit), steadings of townships in elevation, plantations and Seggie Moor commonty noted. Drawings of sailing vessels. Multiple scale. Compass rose surmounted by fleur-de-lis. |
