Description |
Charter by [Donald] Macdonald [lord of the Isles] in favour of Brian Vicar Mackay, of 11 1/2 merks of land, viz. Baile-Vicar, Machaire Learga-riabhoighe, Ciontragha, Grastol, Tocamol, Ugasgog, the two Gleannastol, Cracobus, Cornubus and Baile-Neaghtoin, on condition of his giving to the granter yearly 4 cows fit for killing for his house, and failing the cows, 2 merks and forty marks. Dated 6th of Beltane 1408. Witnesses: John McDonald, Pat. McaBrian, Fergus MacBeth and Hugh McCei. |
