In favour of Sir Robert Erskyne [Erskine] of that ilk, Kt, as heir to deceased Lady Isabel Douglas, Countess of Marr [Mar] and of Garviach [Garioch], his cousin in half of lands of the earldom of Marr, now in King's hands by decease of Sir Alexander Stuart [Stewart], Earl of Marr, who died on [25 Jul] two years before, and who had same for term of his life by gift of said Isabel, and of regality of Garviach, now in hands of Lady Elizabeth, Countess of Buchan, spouse of deceased Sir Thomas Stewart, Kt, on account of conjunct infeftment thereof made by King [James I] to said Thomas and Elizabeth after death of said Sir Alexander. |
