Witnesses: Andrew McFarlane of Arrochar, Patrick Colquhoune of Arthinconall, Archibald Henrisone, sir Thomas Hendersone. Signed by granter; seal, poor impression, on tag. With bond by Patrick Culquhoun, son of Walter Culquhoune of Kilmardony, procurator to John Colquhoun of Luss, to cause said John content and pay to Colin Campbell of Glenurquhay, who has paid to granter by hands of Andrew Quhite, burgess of Perth, 1000 merks in complete payment of 2500 merks due as tocher, the just half of all expenses made or to be made by said Colin in raising of dispensations or infefting Christine Campbell in lands of Garskube conform to contract of marriage, 8 December 1559. Witnesses: Thomas Robertsoun, baxter, Robert Towart, burgesses of Perth, Thomas Burnet and sir Walter Ramsay, notary. |
