Admin history The Edinburgh Ross and Cromarty Association was constituted in 1896 with the objects of (1) promoting the social and friendly intercourse of the members; (2) assisting in the advancement and welfare of the natives of the County and (3) assisting in the preservation of, and in the publication of, literature connected with the history, poetry, music, traditions and antiquities of the County. Membership was open to all who were natives of or connected with or interested in the County. The Association was wound up in 1983.
