Description |
Accounts of George, Earl of Dunbar, Lord High Treasurer, as governor of H.M. mines within Scotland, and George Bruce of Carnock, as treasurer of the mines. These volumes contain weekly accounts of expenses of working the silver mines at Hilderston, West Lothian, under the direction of Sir Bevis Bulmer, and of expenditure on the silver mills at Leith and near Linlithgow. |
