1. Copy of letter from Kirkcaldy to Archibald Douglas [parson of Glasgow] asking him to write to the Marshall of Berwick for a loan of £100 sterling, 23 Aug. [1571]. 2. Note of money received from Archibald Douglas, n.d. 3. Receipt by Archibald Douglas for jewels, 5 Nov. 1571. 4. Note that Douglas had the Queen's marriage ring and other jewels, n.d. 5. Note of silver in the cunziehouse in the Castle, 27 Oct.-3 Nov. [1571]. 6. Receipt by the Earl of Huntly for two tablet diamonds, 29 Oct. 1571. 7.
