Kelvinside Botanic Gardens Church, Glasgow, began with Free Church mission work around 1850. The church building, at the corner of Byres Road and Great Western Road, was opened in 1863 as Kelvinside Free (later United Free) Church. It terminated in 1978 on uniting with Belmont and Hillhead as Kelvinside Hillhead. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
