Dailly St Columba?s Church, Ayrshire, originated at the Disruption, when the minister and a large part of his congregation ?came out?. Dailly Free Church transferred successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland (as Dailly St Columba?s). In 1937 it united with the former Dailly parish church (then Dailly St Machar?s) as Dailly, and the church, hall and manse of the former Free church were sold. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery and synod of Ayr. |
