Rev J. P. Struthers (1851-1915) was a Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland minister in Whithorn (1878-1882) and Greenock (1882-1915). He compiled a children's magazine called Morning Watch between 1888-1915, amounting to 28 volumes. The issues were beautifully illustrated by Miss Annie MacDonald, whom Struthers married in 1907. |
