Incorporated under Act of 29 July 1856 (19 & 20 Vic. c.136).
The company was leased to the Scottish North Eastern Railway as from 1 January 1864 under Act of 23 June 1864 (27 & 28 Vic. c.83).
The Scottish North Eastern Railway was amalgamated with the Caledonian Railway as from 31 July 1866 under Act of 10 August 1866.
The Caledonian Railway became part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway as from 1 July 1923 under the North Western, Midland and West Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1923 dated 29 June 1923. |
