Description |
'Harbour of Coldingham shewing proposed improvements'. By W Mitchell [1:240] 1 in = 20 ft 60 x 49 cm plan coloured to show proposed wharf wall, rock to be cut away on bed and sides of harbour and boom gate. Main pier, breakwaters, steps and parapet noted. Cross-section of west breakwater and entrance showing proposed boom gate with tackle for lifting, and rock to be excavated on harbour floor. Plan of masonry for supporting boom gate [scale 1:48]. Another plan showing same details, but dated 1849 and uncoloured - RHP 4247. |
